Rooster Club is built to be safe for ordinary farmers and breeders — not just easy to use. Here's how we protect your account, your data and your deals.
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone. There's no password to leak, reuse or steal.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, so your data isn't readable on the way.
Database access is governed by row-level security rules, so each user can only reach the data they're allowed to — enforced on the server, not just hidden in the app.
ID documents for seller verification are stored privately, reviewed only by our team, and then deleted. We keep only the fact that you were verified — not your full ID number.
Rooster Club is a connector only. We process no payments and run no escrow, so there's no wallet or card data with us to be compromised.
Photos, videos and voice notes are stored on dedicated cloud object storage (Cloudflare R2), with upload permissions scoped per user to prevent tampering.
Most fraud anywhere happens off-platform. These habits keep you safe on Rooster Club too.
Look for the verification badge and a real review history before you commit to a high-value bird.
See the bird in person — or on a live video call — before paying. Never send money for a bird you haven't verified.
Use the in-app deal receipt so both sides have a record. It protects you if anything is disputed later.
If a listing or person feels wrong, report and block them. Reports help us remove bad actors quickly.
We welcome reports from security researchers and users. If you believe you've found a vulnerability, please email us privately before sharing it publicly, and give us reasonable time to fix it. We're grateful for good-faith reports.
